About Europeana
At Europeana, we work to empower the cultural heritage sector in its digital transformation. We bring together cultural heritage professionals from all over Europe. We provide the cultural heritage sector with a voice advocating for better digital practices. We work to share and promote cultural heritage so that it can be used and enjoyed by people all over the world. We provide opportunities for institutions and individuals in the cultural heritage sector to develop their digital skills and practice. We develop and maintain technical solutions for showcasing, sharing and using digital cultural heritage.
As we work toward our mission, we are increasingly publishing multilingually in the 24 official languages of the European Union. We publish editorial, such as blogs and exhibitions about cultural heritage topics, as well as professional resources for educators, researchers and cultural heritage professionals.
We are looking for interns to support us in this work, contributing to Europeana’s multilingual editorial publishing. Interns will be working on translating texts for Europeana, including stories/articles, interface texts on the Europeana website and other texts. In turn, we offer Translation Studies students the experience of working on topics of relevance to the cultural heritage sector.
