The mock conference generally takes place during the third semester and is one of the course’s most popular activities. The conference focuses on a particular topic and the tutors assume the roles of speakers representing what are often actual organisations in various countries. During the mock conference, students work as interpreters under real conditions. You can find more information about a mock conference for students of interpreting here.
