An internship of 300 hours (approximately 10 weeks) is realized during the 4th semester of studies. The aim of the internship is to introduce students to the real working environment of translation. The internship is realized in cooperation with translation agencies in Greece and abroad as well as national and international organizations comprising translation section. During their internship, students are expected to take part in actual translation projects; in revision/ quality assurance processes; in pre and post editing; in developing terminology resources. Mentoring in matter of professional deontology and ethics can also part of the internship.

After the completion of their internship, students are expected to deliver a report of their internship.
